Just said on the View that the reason there is a disconnect between the President and the people because the President said they have a right to build a mosque near ground zero and because he wouldn't give his opinion on the matter.

Why didn't anyone on the View explain that it is the President's DUTY to uphold the constitution, and not to foster division?

Whoopi and Joy walked off the stage. I don't know if it was a PR stunt or not.

I do know that Republicans are full of hate and love division.

Yes, Muslims did do it, but they didn't kill just "us" (whatever that is, probably, white Americans) they killed Jews and even some other Muslims, and other Non-Christians. And it was just 19 or so Muslims, adding those who were in on the plot. To take that and blame the millions who follow the religion is of course bigoted (and naturally doesn't apply the other way round, since one Timothy McVeigh apparently does not condemn all white Americans, as it should if the same standard were applied, but double standards are a right wing staple).
