Would you please ignore the damned polls and get to work?
The ONLY poll that matters is on November 2nd. The rest are either something for the media to report on so they don't have to do any real journalism, or something designed to shape opinion, not measure it.

Now please help make sure we come out first in the real poll.

Volunteer down at Democratic HQ. They need people to make phone calls, knock on doors, make phone calls, compile lists of local events, make phone calls, do data entry, make phone calls, etc.

You don't have to have a persuasive personality to make phone calls. Lots of calls are just to remind Democrats to vote. You can do that!!!

Help others get their early ballots in case they can't get out on election day.

Get a yard sign.

Talk to your cousin/nephew/aunt etc.

We need to focus on this or the next two years of DU will be not about how to improve the country, but about limiting damage.

thanks,

Scuba

1. It's pretty hard to ignore something that provoking.
Maybe we need a daily thread for a while, "Today in The Media is Full of It".

2. And donate to Democratic groups
to level the advertising playing field a good bit, and help GOTV. Use email and Facebook to remind your Democratic friends and family to vote, and ask them to do the same.

3. I haven't read a single poll. I rarely do.
Get to work? I'm voting; I'll fill in every spot on my ballot. I'm actively supporting 2 candidates on my ballot.

Be grateful. Nagging and demanding tends to result in the opposite effect intended.

6. Would you please ignore the people who read the damned polls and get to work?
Or you are getting to work? Sorry, I assumed that all you were doing was sitting around worrying about the people who read the polls...
