Alien world view

So I went to the market today, and struck a conversation with a dealer in wares.

Now I've heard diabetes is caused by bad moods, and a susto. That is like common south of the border among the people and a challenge when trying to change diets. Today I heard one that is very much in line with this magical thinking though with plenty of pseudo science.
1.- it can be cured... No, not really but that's ok.
2.- it is caused by eating animal products. You see we humans should not eat them because they literally coat the insulin receptor in the cell preventing the insulin from unlocking the receptor. And why should we not eat animal products? Well we didn't in the garden of Eden and we humans should not eat them.

Of course, never mind all the scientific evidence for evolution, she has never ever seen evidence of it.

Agreed to disagree since we have literally alien word views and walked away.

Prayze Jesus, in one retreat she even saw the effect of like diet and shit in insulin resistance, dramatically reduced needs for Medicine. Scary, these people vote, and run for school boards too.
