I admire the French
Edited on Mon Oct-18-10 05:10 PM by ThomWV
In France the people are standing up. Its refreshing. Dam shame it does't happen here. And no, a couple of hundred (thousand) people enjoying a nice day on the Mall listening to speakers, as much as I enjoy being out there, doesn't count for much in comparison.

1. We keep spinning our wheels in entry level activism.
Rallies and "raising awareness" are fine, but you have to move beyond that to something more effective. It seems like most Americans don't have the guts for it, and the government infiltrates any group that tries.

2. careful...
FBI is certainly taking steps to prevent such a thing happening here. Or is that the Dept. of Homeland Security's jurisdiction?

5. I do too. They are a people that are not afraid to say fuck you to power.
They are not easily hoodwinked for any prolonged period that their leaders and wealthy deserve their position and resources by right or merit.

The mickey mouse ends more or less at their noses or they react. We accept it on an unlimited scope for an endless amount of occasions provided the guilty party is wealthy, connected, and tolerated by the movers and shakers.

We are the surrender monkeys, all we need is the right pitch. No tanks need roll.
