Here's another thing that pisses me off
You know why corporations demand lower taxes? Its because its the only way they can show higher profits, if their taxes are lowered. That is because Corporate management is unimmaginative and unable to show continous improvement. Now what pisses me off is the very thing that management can not provide and wishes to mask under the curtain of lowered taxes is higher productivity from their segment of the business activity. That is the very same thing that has been demanded - and produced - by labor every decade since the second world war. If it weren't for Government action in lowering taxes Corporate Management would be held to account for their failure to pay their own way by producing increased profitability. It is management, not labor, that has failed this country - don't forget it.

2. Yep, Avoided taxes + slave labor = improved profits, not an iota of productivity improvement

3. Labor has CONSISTENTLY improved its productivity over the last 100 years
And yet, with "improved" management "techniques", average labor pay has been DECLINING since the 1970s.

What does this say?

4. That's what the free market is all about.
Not such a great idea when you really look at it.

Corporations exists so that share-holders -- who already have more money than they need -- can legally extract even more from those who actually work.

And the farther they can take that process, the better they like it.

Corporations are not just supposed to make a profit; they are supposed to make the maximum profit possible.
