Buckle Up, Everyone... The Sestak Surge is For Real
This is now the second day in a row that we've gotten corroborating data that shows a much-maligned PPP poll may not be an outlier, but merely the leading edge of some real tightening in key Senate races. Two days ago, PPP showed Missouri getting close. Conservatives howled that it was a biased outlier... until an independent poll confirmed.

Yesterday, PPP showed Joe Sestak taking the lead in Pennsylvania, and conservatives howled that it was a biased outlier... but an independent poll released this morning confirmed PPP's numbers yet again:

1. Those conservatives will howl at anything except a tax break.
I'm rootin' for Joe.

5. Yep. They're howlers from the word 'go.'
If only they'd lose their voice!

10. Not quite.....
....you mean howl at anything except a tax break for individuals making over $200,000/yr. After all, the working and lower-income class don't deserve tax breaks--they're just LAZY! :sarcasm:

16. True. Evidently according to the far-Right, the
richer you are the more you deserve a tax break.

Kinda hard to figure.

17. Because....
...anybody who works long, hard hours must be RICH! Therefore, if someone is poor, it's solely because they are lazy! :sarcasm: Tell that to any blue-collared worker in this country who works 60-70 hrs a week at three (3) jobs just to pay the rent and put food on their table.

I'm starting to agree with that NY gubenatorial candidate, "The Rent Is Too Damn High!"

2. It gets even better than that.
From our local newspaper poll:

"Democrat Sestak now leads Republican Toomey 44 percent to 41 percent with 15 percent undecided, a Morning Call/Muhlenberg College Tracker poll shows."

I just can't see how PA Democrats, who elected Sestak over Spector in the primary, would choose to vote for Toomey, who is much more conservative than Spector.

6. That's the poll I was referring to
Corroborates PPP's one point Sestak lead from yesterday.

4. Come on, Joe!!
Oh gosh, I hope this momentum is real! How disgusting it would be for Pennsylvania to have another Rick Santorum representing them. I hope the unions are rallying their members to get out and vote for Sestak and that other liberal groups are pushing people hard to vote on Nov. 2.
