2. Yeah, he probably should have chosen his VP all by himself like a BIG boy. Also, out of curiosity,
did Sarah even ENDORSE McCain this time around? A vapid moron like Hayworth(less) would seem more up her alley... or did she just stay out of that primary altogether?

5. not a bit sorry for him!
I thank god he picked her. Well not god, it's just a saying, but it showed how bad his judgement can and would be as president. We got Obama instead so I'm glad! Even thought everywhere around me here in SC they're dogging the dems and Obama at every opportunity. :hi:

6. Before he went senile...
.. he was a principled person, as his mind faded, he became just another fascist turd, selling out the corporations.

7. McCain was always self-serving.
His only life-long interest has been John McCain, and what's best for him.

9. Yes he was
It started back in his days at the US Naval Academy, what we're seeing now is just the culmination of who and what he truly is.

McCain is the "Portrait of Dorian Gray", in real life!

10. Well..
.. he is a politician, so that's hardly something unique to him. The politician that DOESN'T have a "life-long interest" mainly in themselves is a rare bird, indeed.

15. Ah, but most don't spend the greater part of their productive time trying
to convince themselves of that fact, much less the general public.

16. We'll..
.. just to agree to disagree on that, my friend. That, as far as I can see, is exactly what the majority of them do, regardless of their political party.

14. As a constituent of his his entire Senatorial lifetime, I beg to differ.

His history shows he was always an opportunist and was never really a "maverick."

8. What I don't understand is how McCAin's daughter is
reasonable on SOME subjects. She is a republican and believes in the republican party but she isn't as radical as the tea bags and a lot of republicans. Sorta reminds you of what her father used to be.

13. He's always gotten a pass because he was tortured as a prisoner of war
He's always been an asshole. People just didn't notice because he's been riding that torture band wagon all his political career. Hell! He's all for torturing people now! And his stand on DADT is horrendous.

He's being an asshole about DADT and will continue to be. It's in his nature.

18. McCain picked her to fit in with his "dog whistle" campaign.
Campaigning at the Sturgis bike rally, selecting miss snowbilly, campaigning to White America, calling Pres. Obama "that one". He knew what he was doing. He just had no idea that a sitting gov. could be as stupid as Palin.
