No increases in cost and the benefits remained the same.....oh except for the part where I can cover my children until they are 26. It's something, although I would prefer single payer!

Damn did YOU get lucky.
I hate that time of year. We have to do it before the end of the year and they only give you about two weeks to review the paperwork and make a decision. Then you have to do it online with a really fucked up set of screens that somehow managed to forget that I selected dental insurance last year. I know I printed the detailed confirmation page, but of course I didn't have a damn clue where it was when I needed it. The cost always goes up and the deductible and co-pay go right along with it. We were better off under BC/BS, but the corporate morons decided to switch to CIGNA (which blows moose cock).

2. We've been corralled (due to the high price of PPOs) into a VERY HIGH deductible HSA
Nothing BUT annuals (but not labs) are covered until that #$%&%*$&%$ deductible gets met. The money contributed by my employer helps but a single trip to the doctor for ANYTHING other than annuals results in an $80-100 bill and our prescription drugs are $30 and up for most everything.

Adding insult to injury was my employer's blaming the health reform law for the increases in health care/premiums costs.

:puke:

It's days like this that make me wonder if I chose the right profession and if I need to get out of my no-pay-raise job.
