This Modern Disconnect
You listen to the yammerers on the colortini and you have no choice but to believe the Democrats will be the biggest electoral failure in the history of the universe, if not of MSNBCs coverage of same.

You read the polls and listen to the more honest analysis and you see a VERY DIFFERENT picture.

I continue to believe we will sustain some losses, but hold our majorities in both houses. I believe we will gain in governorships and hold our own in state legislatures.

1. I've been feeling the same as you
America just can't be so stupid as to throw itself away.

And if it does, then we'll have one hell of a lot to talk about in the next two years because it's going to get crazier than I can imagine.

2. I agree.......
and have felt this way for a long time. It's the last 2 or 3 weeks when folks start paying attention now, not Labor Day.

3. This is the first election that I haven't watched a second of the corporate media.
It's like turning off the world's most annoying car alarm.

4. Why do you think polls
Have ahem tightened?

It is that "credibility."

5. Today, both in PA and KY, the Dem is ahead in a trend, not just one poll
Not sure about Colorado.
