RNC Lags DNC In Fundraising, Takes Out Loan For Final Weeks

The Republican National Committee raised $9.8 million in September, far less than the Democratic National Committee's more than $17 million haul.

The party announced in a release the $9.8 million figure and said they raised $4.25 million during the first two weeks of October. The DNC raised $11.1 million during the first 13 days of October.

The total for the cycle is more than $167 million for the RNC and $179 million for the DNC.

A Democratic source told CQ-Roll Call the DNC will file a report Thursday posting the $11.1 million figure. What's more, the DNC is revising its September figure to be higher than the $16 million previously announced. The party raised nearly $17 million, the source said.

3. they always find a way
I guess the point in highlighting this is to spotlight our party's superiority in attracting donations, even as the media is claiming we're losing supporters.
