I watched Evan Smith of the Texas Tribune grilling Mayor White on CSPAN and was impressed

with White's calm and thoughtful answers. Smith was waving his arms around and was vicious with every question and White nailed him every time. Earlier Smith interviewed Gov Perry and softballed him on questions. Perry is dumber than I thought, he sounds just like G.W. Bush.

And Perry is a box of rocks, ain't he.

4. I went out puttng up signs for White the other day and you'll never believe what I saw...

I saw other Bill White signs there with a small whirly (it turns when the wind blows) sign attached to the top that said "Republicans for" on it - Republicans for Bill White! Sweeeeeet!

Texas is ready for a new governor and Bill White is the man for the job!
