A few responded that they wanted off my list and to stop sending them shit. But this guy bothered to put his feelings down in RED CAPITALS.

WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? THE MEDIA IS ALL LIBERAL AND PRO-OBAMA, EXCEPT FOR FOX THAT WAS BLOCKED FROM THE WHITE HOUSE.

1) President Obama tripled the deficit.
Reality: Bush's last budget had a $1.416 trillion deficit. Obama's first Budget reduced that to $1.29 trillion.
PERHAPS YOU HAVEN'T HEARD OF ALL OF THE STIMULUS PROJECTS. THE NEW ELECTEES PROMISE TO SALVAGE SOME OF THE DEBT.
2) President Obama raised taxes, which hurt the economy.
Reality: Obama cut taxes to try and please the Republicans. 40% of the "stimulus" was wasted on tax cuts which only create debt, which is why it was so much less effective than it could have been. NO REPUBLICAN LEGISLATION CAN GET BY REID AND PELOSI. I GET MESSAGES FROM MY CONGRESSMAN, AND THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING DONE TO PLEASE THE REPUBLICANS.

3) President Obama bailed out the banks.
Reality: While many people conflate the "stimulus" with the bank bailouts, the bank bailouts were requested by President Bush and his Treasury Secretary, former Goldman Sachs CEO Henry Paulson. (Paulson also wanted the bailouts to be "non-reviewable by any court or any agency.") The bailouts passed and began before the 2008 election of President Obama.
WHAT RIGHT DOES THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION HAVE TO FORCE A BANK TO FIRE ITS PRESIDENT? THE US GOVERNMENT NOW OWNS COMPANIES AND DICTATE HOW THEY ARE RUN - NEED TO GET THE GOVERNMENT OUT AND FIRE ALL CZARS.
4) The stimulus didn't work.
Reality: The stimulus worked, but was not enough. In fact, according to the Congressional Budget Office, the stimulus raised employment by between 1.4 million and 3.3 million jobs.HOW DO YOU GET AHEAD WHEN YOU LOSE MORE JOBS THAN YOU GAIN?

5) Businesses will hire if they get tax cuts.
Reality: A business hires the right number of employees to meet demand. Having extra cash does not cause a business to hire, but a business that has a demand for what it does will find the money to hire. Businesses want customers, not tax cuts.
DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE BURDEN PLACED ON BUSINESSES BY FORCING THEM TO CARRY MEDICAL INSURANCE ON ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES, OR BE PENALIZED BY OBAMA????
6) Health care reform will increase the national debt by $1 trillion.
Reality: The health care reform reduces government deficits by $138 billion.
IT SHOULD REDUCE IT SINCE OLD PEOPLE WILL BE DEPRIVED OF PROPER MEDICAL CARE.
7) Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, is "going broke," people live longer, fewer workers per retiree, etc.
Reality: Social Security has run a surplus since it began, has a trust fund in the trillions, is completely sound for at least 25 more years and cannot legally borrow so cannot contribute to the deficit (compare that to the military budget!) Life expectancy is only longer because fewer babies die; people who reach 65 live about the same number of years as they used to.
IF ALL SOCIAL SECURITY HAD BEEN PLACED IN A FUND SEPARATE FROM THE "TAX AND SPEND" CONGRESS, THERE WOULD NEVER BE A PROBLEM.
8) Government spending takes money out of the economy.
Reality: Government is We, the People and the money it spends is on We, the People. Many people do not know that it is government that builds the roads, airports, ports, courts, schools and other things that are the soil in which business thrives. Many people think that all government spending is on "welfare" and "foreign aid" when that is only a small part of the government's budget.
THIS ELECTION WILL TELL YOU WHAT PEOPLE KNOW. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BUILDS ROADS TO NOWHERE AS REQUESTED BY CERTAIN POLITICIANS. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS OUT OF CONTROL, AND IF YOU READ THE STIMULUS PACKAGE YOU WILL SEE THE STUPID THINGS ON WHICH THEY ARE WASTING OUR TAX DOLLARS.

7. I got a good one about social security

the email said that the Democratic congress WOULDN'T give retirees the raise. That the Democratic congress took 24 million dollars out of social security to give to blacks and muslims etc etc.

I wrote a reply telling them about the law passed in 1975 that controlled when and how much of a raise social security would get. I also told them the raid on social security funds started with the Saint, Reagan who took money out of social security to balance his budget because of the massive tax cuts he gave to the rich. And that the Democratic congress proposed a law to give seniors $250 to make up for not getting that raise and the republican senators every single one voted against it.

This email tried to say that the Democrats are the ones stealing from social security and denied seniors a raise. I HIT REPLY ALL. I guess I won't get another email from that person.

The best they've been able to come back with so far is, "those charts have limited scope". lol
They are the ones that indicated that Obama has tripled Bush's deficit. I'm thinking a little research into item #1 on the list, would be my little addition of whipped cream on the top. haa haa
