My sound went out on my computer!

If you are in Windows, you might want to check the sound setting in your control panel.

I think the board itself must have gone south. I tried plugging in my headphones stright into the computer and no sound....frustrating to see a video and not be able to hear it......what did we do without sound...lol!

7. No kidding! I watch stuff on line more than I watch teevee

and am totally spoiled in that way. It may be your board. Have you asked in the computer forum? There are boards you can replace yourself pretty easily. Good luck, pdx_prog.

12. The headphones jack may be the problem.

Grab the jack & gently "work" it into the hole until you get sound.

This happens to me after I've had them awhile.
