FL Congressman Alan Grayson leading on issues but trailing in race
'Perhaps as the election nears, people will put aside their distaste for Grayson’s flamboyant style and decide that what matters is what he has promised to and can accomplish and where he stands on the important issues. Because certainly, when it comes to the issues, Grayson seems to have the edge over Webster in terms of where they stand and what they have done.'

1. The Examiner piece attributes his "trailing in race" to internet polls cited by the Daily Beast.
Aren't internet polls "unscientific" and not dependable by definition?
I've sent Grayson some money already, I'm glad to do it again.

3. Too many polls, of various reliabilities, to concern me, that's for sure.
Have contributed several times.

Thanks.

2. It's too bad that Rep. Grayson is a U.S. congressman in FL, where his chances of survival
Edited on Sun Oct-24-10 05:13 PM by Cal33
are a toss-up. If he had been in a Democratic state, I think he would
have gone far. He is one of the few who is not afraid to speak his mind,
tells the truth, and has great ideas for the betterment of our nation.

Our country needs someone like him to get rid of bribery, corruption,
cowardice, and the dead-wood that is littering the legislative branch
of our government.

If he should lose this election, I hope he'd consider leaving Florida
and begin again in another state where his attempts to clean up the
legislatove branch would be more appreciated.

6. If he looses I hope he becomes a television pundit or op ed journalist because
he certainly can turn a phrase.

7. Well, yes. I hope that would be his second consideration, though.. Just
think of the amount of good he could do for the nation, if he should become
Speaker of the House some day!

5. Dunno where rumor intrudes on facts in these matters,
but Biden is campaigning for him tomorrow.

He's very expensive, as repugs have poured huge amounts against him.

8. Grayson leads in everything except:
About $2 million in outside untraceable Rove/Koch money and a 24/7 propaganda station (Faux) screaming against him
in a state where Republican governors have systematically defunded education so that the electorate wouldn't have
the presence of mind to question obvious propaganda.

9. Staying In Grayson's District
I am on my way to the gym where I pass a "Viva Webster" sign on the way. This is a very, very tough race for
Grayson.

10. Grayson
The solution is very simple if Grayson loses. Dump Tweety; hire Grayson.
