I criticize the party I vote for the most. I do vote Democratic every election BUT I do it at times voting for the lesser of two evils.

I don't believe it makes me a bad person to be upset when I see the loop-holes in bills that are suppose to help average Americans but in reality those loop-holes make it better for Corporate America.

I am not evil for criticizing President Obama when I think he is in the wrong or not truly looking out for the majority of Americans needs.

Anytime anyone says one thing against President Obama on this board people are quick to bash the writer or call them Freepers or racist.

I am angry that with the majority the Democrats had in the House and Senate and yet they pass lame bills that could have been stronger but no they water it down to appeal to the Republicans. The republican party if they get the majority will not be so willing to hand out that olive branch.

Look at 2000 and 2004 when repugs had the majority look at the tactics they used. They will do it again if they have control and the Democratic leads will just whine and whine.

I want the party that I vote for to have a backbone and not whine. I want more Graysons, Kuciniches and Wieners in this party and not blue-dogs or whiners.

If there were more Graysons, Kuciniches, etc. I'd call myself a Democrat.

Until the corporatism stops, I'm a proud Democratic Socialist. I vote Green a lot of the time but when races are close, I'll vote for the Dem. I pretty much tell people the Green Party is the Democratic Party with principles and they care about the environment.

BTW, don't ever feel bad about the things you mentioned.

3. None of us want to take down the Democratic Party

so how important is it to put our expressions in this context? How many times do I have to say, I respect President Obama and what he is up against, and how important this election is, during discussions about other issues like torture, war crimes and economic collapse?

It is important to keep on message about keeping the RW out of office, but we all have got to trust each other around here. The few people mouthing off about not voting or giving up have to be worked around, IMHO.

Thank you for posting this, we are a diverse party and these are volatile times. there are fundamental issues like winning elections, all the while we each have to be true to ourselves.

5. Maybe you won't feel bad about it
But you'll feel a lot worse if the Republicans win Congress.
