Hugh Shelton and Colin Powell....You can still kiss my ass...
All the fucking recriminations about the Iraq War you want to do after the fact, you can both stick right up your asses. I find it deplorable the two of you both found your spines AFTER the fact and did nothing when you had real power to do something. Not a goddamned worthwhile thing. Oh, yes, Powell came up with a nice catch phrase about pottery and breaking shit, but both of you did NOTHING of importance to prevent this war when given a chance.

So while you two try to build history in your favor, I hope we again have someone like a Howard Zinn who will write true history so generations to come will know what chickenshits you two were in the march up to this war that should have never happened.

So, when you place your heads on those pillows at night, I hope and pray the memory that keeps you two up is spineless people like you were pushed around by a fuck with five college deferments for his own war opportunity and by some gnome-nerd named Wolfowitz who was famous for pasting his hair down with his own spit.

At least Bill Clinton had the spine to protest a war he didn't believe in.

1. There was a time I might have voted for Powell.....
but not after that charade at the UN.

Sorry, Colin, but you sold your soul.

2. powell sold his soul decades ago--do not forget, he was one of those instrumental in the coverup of
MyLai. he has been a whore for the powers that be from the beginning of his career.

3. Both are men who ignored their conscience until the damage was done.
Of course they knew even then. It seems clear to me when rewatching Powell's UN address that he knew he was lying. I wish there were some with strength of conviction in power, but I guess those were all fired or compromised by *Cheney. These men opted for self-preservation rather than service to country. I hope their conscience burns with the fire of a thousand suns.

4. I wish somebody would have the guts to say to powell "so, how, exactly, is your lame-assed apology
going to bring back the dead, heal the wounded, fix the countries we have destroyed, and put all that money back in our treasury? no idea? then just shut up"

5. Let's not forget those first Persian Gulf War photos
Powell used in his little presentation to build up the drumbeat to go to war this latest time around either. I sure haven't.
