1. You have my sympathy.

I wish she'd have the courage to make a personal call, because I know you'd have a few choice words to describe how you feel about LePage. I thought it was interesting as I drove down W. Broadway this morning, to see that the only signs our are for democratic or independent candidates. There are some serious rethugs on that street but they're either embarrassed to be associated with LP or are finally seeing the light; I'm betting on the former.

3. I've not only been seeing LePage signs in my area, but the Maine GOP left one for me
in my door along with material for all of their candidates.

Now, either they have lost their minds and think that a Green will vote for them or they are courting my husband, who is a member of a conservative third party. I'm betting it's the second one. LOL

4. Call her office back
And tell her that while you're in total sympathy with Mr. LePage, and you think he'd do a wonderful job as governor, you've thought long and hard about it, and when it comes down to the actual vote, you're sorry, but you just can't vote for him.

I am confident that Ms. Snowe and her staff will greatly appreciate your sentiments, and totally understand that you're with them all the way up until it comes to the actual vote. Heck, they should send you a letter suitable for framing!

7. Parody?
Any of Sen. Snowe's staff would completely understand where GPV is coming from; that's why I suggested they'd send a commendation letter suitable for framing. I personally would treasure such an artifact.

5. Snowe is a 'Fallen Woman.'
That's as nice as I could put it.
