ANOTHER West Virginia Senate Update?

Yes, I'm afraid so. There's some good news for team Blue from PPP, who show Joe Manchin up 7. There's also been some predictable push-back from the right, who apparently don't understand the difference between a MAJORITY Democratic electorate and a PRO-Democratic electorate. That being said, it's obviously harder for pollsters to draw a bead on this race than it is for Gov. Manchin to draw a bead on a cap and trade bill.

1. With one exception, Rasmussen has done every poll that showed Raese ahead.

Two PPP polls gave Manchin the advantage, as did one from Orion Strategies. One CNN/Time poll reported a tie. For what seems like a hundred years we have been bombarded with TV ads from Raese, and from organizations that are attacking Manchin.

Manchin is no dummy. With the election one week from tomorrow, I just hope he's smart enough to have held back some funds for serious mudslinging between now and then.
