Obama, Bush, and the Underemployment rate

Is the media reporting more stories about the underemployment rate now that President Obama is in office as opposed to when President Bush was in office? As far as I can tell there have been far more stories about the underemployment rate during President Obama's administration than during President Bush's administrations. During President Bush's administration I only heard about the underemployment rate from independent media sources. Now that President Obama is in office I am not sure the media discusses any economic or jobs related story without mentioning that the underemployment rate under the Obama administration is in double digits. Has anyone else noticed an uptick in the reporting of the underemployment rate?
