House Polling Dump 10/25

Good news, bad news, confusing(ly good) news...

The good news is that in VA-02, Glenn Nye (the Blue Dog Guy) is, despite an R+5 district, a number of polls showing him down between 5 and 7 points, and endorsement from ... sigh... the Chamber of COmmerce, in reasonable shape in the most recent poll.

The bad news, another recent poll shows Colleen Hanabusa unable to seal the deal in Hawaii 01 (a D+11 district) against rent-a=Rep Charles Djou. I'm not familiar with what's happening on the ground in Hawaii (it's pretty far from me), but Hanabusa has to be running a seriously questionable campaign to be an underdog at this point in a district like this.

The confusing? Oregon-05, where Survey USA and Elway released polls within 2 days of each other thate are TWENTY TWO points different from each other.

2. Why you down?

Tuesday is faaaar from a done deal. It's going to be a super interesting night, and if you want a silver lining if Dems DO lose the House and Senate, it probably helps Obama and REAL Democrats in 2012. It'll be the Blue Dog Coalition that takes the brunt.
