Did anybody notice Greta on Washington Journal start the
show again with Republicons taking over Congress?

This time, the only open lines were for Republicons and tea baggers.

She loves this topic.

10. I have not.
I turned on the TV as the music was starting and when I was hearing the topic, I knew it had to be Greta without seeing who it was.

How? She has done several similar shows over the past few months.

I was fascinated with the topic: When the 'cons take over Congress, ....

I would think this would be a topic good for next Wednesday morning if such an event took place. Until it did, then open the phone for all sides and let everyone comment.

12. I don't know what you *think* you heard, but in this link
to the first 90 seconds of the program, http://cspan.org/Watch/Media/2010/10/26/WJE/R/39898/Tuesday+October+26.aspx">you can hear what she actually said.

That comes from a higher pay grade than hers.

3. Ya I tried the Dem line the whole show today.
They only let through stereotypes I think.

I was jumping at the bit to lay into that tea party express guy...Every word out of his mouth was pure garbage...

And I love that the Tea Partiers think the original Boston tea party was a protest against government. It wasn't! It was a protest against them LIFTING the re-import tax on tea! They were fearful of the encroaching corporate monopoly back then too! (East India Trade Co.)

5. It has played out through History as being against "Taxiation without Representation"
It really wasn't about taxes so much as not having any voice in the matter..Tea Baggers don't understand that. They think it was entirely about taxes, because , well because they are ignorant of history and America...

6. She Gets The Warm And Fuzzies Over Teabaggers...
Little Greta has been showing her inner Brian Lamb a lot lately. Today it's Russo...a GOOP dirty trickster. But it's assured anytime that she's on there's some fawning over one rushpublican shill or another...and she's always right there with the latest GOTB talking point.

9. He's Still In Charge...
He does some of the Book TV stuff on the weekends as well as full hour swoonfests with his favorites from the AEI and Hemmeroid Institute. He's got enough stooges in place now so he's gone sub rosa...

:hi:
