Juan Williams just now: "there's no history of black people attacking airplanes"

Just now on the Diane Rehm show, Juan addressed people who asked him if he would feel just as nervous if he saw African-looking men wearing daishikis on the plane.

Juan gave the astounding answer in the thread title. :wow:

Of course the airplanes in qiestion had swastikas painted on them. I figure this is relevant because William's remark is a purported characteristic of an entire race.

In reference to his earlier anouncement about Muslims causing him to be nervous: Muslims can be Black or any race.

NPR really nailed it when they talked about him saying one thing on Fox and another on NPR.

Diane just asked him where he stands on NPR funding. He danced around it and never said one way or the other.

Very different answer on Fox:

“If they want to compete in the marketplace, they should compete in the marketplace,” Williams said Friday in an interview on “Fox and Friends”. “They don’t need public funds. I think that they should go out there. They think their product is so great, go out and sell the product.”
