Trumka-Obama conference call is over

It was live with two faux pas. President Trumka had to start over when the conference operator came in after Trumka had already started.

No questions, we could comment after the call was finished in voice message form. It was a get out and get our people to the polls session.

Most important thing Trumka said was "For every special interest dollar spent, labor has made a phone call, knocked on a door, talked to a co-worker".

Second faux pas was the white house operator accidentally talking over President Obama as he was asking if Rich is on the line?

I couldn't keep up with my notes. I'll post what I have tomorrow night. I wrote Tula at the AFL-CIO looking for a transcript.

Because I had the time wrong, I didn't make it to my union local meeting.
