However, it's clear that liberals who speak are going to be targeted for violence. Avoidance is not an option, nor is passively getting an assbeating.

Bring friends - protection in groups. If available, bring a lawyer. ALWAYS bring video. Passive resistance is fine for cops, but against these thugs, don't be afraid to liberate a few of their teeth and pancake some testes if you feel threatened; you have a right to do so, and the video will prove it so.
