Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgement on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

No? Or does that part count only of your Political wing is in power? Hypocrites.

11. Epistle of St. James "Warning to the Rich"
The Holy Bible: King James Version. 2000.

The General Epistle of James
5

Warning to the Rich
1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Mt. 6.19
4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of Sab'a-oth. Deut. 24.14, 15
5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

10. Early Christian Socialism described in Acts 4:32-37
Acts 4:32-37:

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. 36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet. (King James Version)

5. It Has To Be A Governemnt Led By One Of Their Own
They will never accept any government as such unless it is one of "their" own. So quoting anything to them is probably "unacceptable" to them since it is not "their" choice of bible quotation and "their" choice of "government leadership".

7. The Tea-bagger-cons ....
believe in the Bible like they believe in cutting spending or the constitution.

Who needs the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 14th, and 17th amendments anyways?
Let's cut all federal funding to those who are in the most economic pain, redistribute that money to the wealthiest few in the country, and increase military spending.
Let's talk about "our" rights while curb-stomping those who dare challenge our beloved Dr. Paul.
Let's rant and rave about bailouts while crying on the house floor begging other congressmen to pass it.
And finally, let's brag about bringing jobs to Ohio when we haven't met a free-trade deal we didn't like.

In all seriousness, I'm getting pissed seeing all these blue-collar Ohio workers goose-stepping behind Sarah PAC and Glenn Beck. Don't they know if the Republican-ts had their way, they'd work for 10 cents an hour with no benefits and no protections because that's "business-friendly" and it would be "competitive with foreign labor". I'm tired of this pro-business bull crap. The economy has been pro-business for the past 30 years, and they STILL managed to screw it up.

These tea-baggers need a pro-labor movement, but they're just too damn dumb to realize it.

12. RWers don't actually care what's in the Bible.
It's just a convenient cudgel.

Seriously, take a look at Dominionism, The Gospel of Prosperity, and almost any of the positions the Religious Right have taken in the past 30 years. They cannot be squared with anything Jesus preached.

13. It's hard to take the Bible literally if you just read the first two chapters ...
of Genesis.

Genesis 1
It is a widely held belief in the scholarly community is that there are two creation stories in Genesis: the first creation story takes place in Genesis 1, while the second takes place in Genesis 2. The first creation account of man takes place on the sixth day and is as follows: "And God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness. They shall rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the cattle, the whole earth, and all the creeping things that creep on the earth.' And God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and God said to them, 'Be fertile and increase, fill the earth and master it; and rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and all the living things that creep on earth." (Genesis 1:26-28)

Genesis 2
The second account of creation explains that "the LORD God formed man from the dust of the earth. He blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being." (Genesis 2:7) Genesis 2 then goes on to explain how God made the garden of Eden. God also brought all the wild beasts and birds of the sky to Adam to name. Genesis also states that "for Adam no fitting helper was found. So the LORD God cast a deep sleep upon the man; and, while he slept, He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that spot. And the LORD God fashioned the rib that He had taken from the man into a woman; and He brought her to the man." (Genesis 2:20-22) The man then named the woman. "This one shall be called Woman" (Genesis 2:23) Genesis 2 then explains that this is why "a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, so that they become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24)

14. Thou shalt follow the impulses of thine inner beast
13th commandment, after:

11th commandment: Thou shall worship the beasts emitting false light in thy home, whose name is liken to foxes.

12th commandment: Thou shall trample women who speaketh tongues foreign to the beast

14th commandment: Thou shalt wear the holy book as garment, open it not
