...just in case a FOX Noise camera is filming at the time. They need something to talk about. There aren't any missing pretty white girls to do 24x7 live coverage from Aruba at the moment.

2. Yeah, well there is that. But hey, this is America. We need to fight the fascists.
I'm quite certain the teabaggers aren't capable of comprehending a lengthy document with "big words" in it like the Constitution. I mean, come on - it takes at LEAST 20 minutes to read the entire thing (including all of the amendments). Isn't BillO on or something?

But as Americans we have to fight those who oppose what our country was founded upon and continues to stand upon. FOX and Rush are just the propaganda behind the anti-American movement, and yes, it is fascist. "Fight" doesn't necessarily imply physical confrontation, but if it is necessary then it is an obligation.

3. Question
Do you think wearing a tshirt from the Stewart rally this coming weekend would be considered "politicking"?

4. Tough call. That depends on where you are. Keep another "cover-up" shirt in the car.
I've gone in wearing t-shirts, buttons, hats, etc. As long as you don't SAY anything or hand out literature they don't consider it a problem around here. Some places are more strict. Try it, but do keep a backup cover-up shirt in the car just in case. It will save you a ride home and back. If your precinct is busy, take a long-sleeve button-down (like a Dickie's work shirt) and tie it around your waist so you don't have to get back in line if they call you out.

5. Thanks for the tips
I'll be voting in NY - just north of the city in Westchester County - straight Democratic ticket.

6. Careful there. Some areas allow cross-platform registration for candidates.
It really depends on where you are, but if there isn't a R/D opposing you, in some areas you can register as both. That means just marking "D Straight Ticket" could throw votes at a Republican who cross-registered. Nasty shit, that. New Hampshire allowed that when I lived there (more than ten years ago, but not by much). I check off each candidate individually just to be sure, but not that it matters - Diebold will change it to whatever they're paid to do anyway.

7. I've never even seen that option
NY is just this election moving from our big clunky lever machines (that I LOVED) to optical scan ballots which I used for the first time in the primary. But I appreciate your warning and will be sure to mark each race individually regardless.

10. It isn't always obvious - just mark each candidate individually - that's all there is to it.

8. Or wear a hijab, or some other "Muslim garb." I bet Fox would love to talk about that, too.

9. I'm gonna wear my Mexican wrestling mask because a federal judge says I can

Screw the WWE and Linda McMahon. I stand in solidarity with my wild and crazy brothers south of the border.
