They haven't even won any election yet, and yet here they are starting to switch from "All we want is freedom from the big bad government and no taxes" to "Let's monitor gays, Muslims, liberals and while we're at it let's put tracking devices in women's reproductive systems."
We've got some homophobes out in Iowa:
"Gay marriage is tearing society asunder, and the decision to allow it runs afoul of the Constitution, said Chuck Hurley, president of the highly influential Christian organization Iowa Family Policy Center, which is a local affiliate of the Family Research Council.
Hurley goes further than opposition to gay marriage, though.
“For millennia every sane culture has had restraints on behavior,” Hurley said.
Stable societies have always had restraints on incest and pedophilia (CK: yeah, because there's usually no consent involved, maybe that's why)
, he said, and that should extend to homosexual acts as well.
“Every culture should have safe and sane laws regarding sexuality,” Hurley said."http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/right-wing-iowa-bus-tour-really-about-restraining-homosexualityAnd then we've got Jim DeMint saying that schools should fire gays and unmarried women.
Joe Miller:
He's OK when the big bad federal government might "intrude upon an individual's decision as to what he or she does," when it comes to TEH GAY.

He wants to scrap the Patient's Bill of Rights and get back to a "market-oriented approach" and get all the sick people out of the system.
(CK: You think I'm joking?)
"If you give perverse incentives to customers to say, 'Why buy insurance?' then what happens is healthy people drop out,
and the system becomes more burdened with sick people. It's really destroying a marketplace."http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/health-reform-implementation/125893-rand-paul-urges-market-based-coverage-not-patients-bill-of-rightsLet's make sure all these dreams of control stay just that, yes?
