Nearly ALL Dems in Florida win!! Crist prevails in Senate race
In my son's middle school today, they held a mock election and he said his Republican classmates were really bummed. In EVERY race except for Senate, the Dems WON-- and by fairly large margins across the board. Charlie Crist won the Senate race. Mock elections in my kids' schools accurately predicted both the 2004 and 2008 presidential elections. So, one can only hope they continue to reflect the opinions of registered Florida voters. (I don't personally think Meek can beat Rubio, even if Crist were to do the wild thing and drop out... so I'm just being pragmatic here. I'd prefer the solid D vote that Meek would provide-- IF he could win.)

The actual numbers he could remember are:
Alex Sink 68%
Charlie Crist 47%

5. Good indicator, kids reflect their parents & teachers ideas.
I think Florida will go our way. They have a huge latin population that loves Obama. the East coast is very democratic because so many are transplants from New York and New Jersey who are rock solid democrats.

The polls are missing these people. Many of them are still in NY in their summer homes but vote absentee. The phone polls completely miss them. These are very smart and rich people, they vote democrat and that's proven every election. Just look at the results of Palm Beach - Gore took it big time and so did Obama.

I cannot imagine us losing in Florida, we have Greyson, and a host of strong progressives. I'm looking foward to Wednesday and rubbing our victories into the faces of the Repuks. Yeah, they may win some seats, but not many. The American people are pretty smart, we know who to vote for.
