2. Not all - perhaps not even a majority - of independents
or unaffiliated voters are right-leaning. Many lean left, as seen in this 2009 poll result:

5. Polls have been unfavorable this cycle in that regard
OK, the polls don't matter, are biased, hate Democrats, etc.....

we never talk about politics. If she were to be polled she would hang up or say she hasn't made up her mind. She'll vote and she'll vote Dem, I'd be willing to bet the house on it. She is like a good many voters who don't watch cable news but spend the evening with reality shows.
