And he backs up his assertion with impressive arguments.

2. Nice piece,
A very spot on piece of analysis. Clinton was, in many ways, the epitome of liberal opportunist. He could feel your pain, even as he made it worse.

Sadly, I think that Obama is much in the same mold.

5. I wonder if those with opposing views would sound off. This article,

though impressive, does seem extremely negative.

6. Well, frankly the Democratic party has gone to hell over the past thirty plus years
Their offerings, in terms of leadership, political stances and personell has been abysmal. Token resistance to Reagan/Bush followed by Clinton, one of the best Republican presidents we've seen in a long while.

The Democrats have, far the most part, sold out to the highest bidder and now only mouth pious platitudes about helping the people in this country, but do nothing to back up their blather. Where once we got crumbs from the table, we now get attacked.

While the liberal elite and the Democratic party might fail, liberalism will endure. Liberalism comes from the soul of our society, the best of mankind. It is based on our ongoing quest for life, liberty and justice for all. It will arise from the people, as a movement of the people, as it always does. Hell, it might just be the movement that sweeps away the Democratic party, the liberal elite, along with the corporate elite and conservative minority.

Never give up hope on that.

3. 4 dead in Ohio
And we have lost some of our best and brightest leaders.

Plus there is that rightful fear of the Momma Grizzlies.

And, frankly, the D party, along with the R party, hate Liberals.

We're headed toward a death from a thousand cuts.
