Considering all of the recent threats/actions of violence...
Please spread this around...

http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2010/October/10-opa-1211.html

This is the link to the Department of Justice news brief from today. It explains the rights citizens have when at their voting precinct. If you see or experience intimidation or discrimination, please have this number handy. I printed a copy to take with me when I vote tomorrow.

Those filthy cowards need to be reported! Thanks!

4. I just entered the toll-free number to report voter intimidation into my phone.
I live in a slightly red small town in blue Washington State. I don't think there'll be a problem...

5. In 2008
when I went to vote there was a big group of "people" standing outside the polling place telling people the polls where closed. I told everyone who was trying to leave stay here, pulled out my cell phone and called the police, these people where so stupid they didn't even try to leave when the police showed up lights-a-blazing and arrested them all. I cant understand why people would even try a stunt like that or why anyone would believe them.

6. Awesome for you!
When I voted in '08, people drove by and yelled out stupid crap like "Obama's a socialist" but didn't stop their trucks (any yes, they were all in trucks) and just rolled on. There was a little old lady in charge of watching the line outside so no one would distribute material. Some people tried, and she chased them away.

I think people believe them because they don't understand their rights and the fact that shit like that is illegal!
