Maybe it is just knowing that most of my community would vote for Christine O'Donnell or Sharon Angle or Joe Miller if they only could. They can't, but they will re-elect John ("I'm your boy, Mr. Bush!") Shimkus and will vote at least 3 to 1 for Mark Kirk.

I am tired of being right and losing. I am tired of staying well-informed only to argue with men with green teeth who think "That's fuckin' STUPID!", spoken loudly enough, trumps all that "elitist" factual crap.

And, I am beginning to occasionally wonder, when I am especially tired and discouraged, if being civil and tolerant and peaceful is really better than just allowing them to take things where they think they want them to go and then kicking their ass "in self defense".

It is time for me to drink the way I try to live: liberally.

May tomorrow be a new and better day and may I be here to live it.

With some of the crap Tea baggers and right wingers get way with these days, its so hard to not want to write about the violence we would love to give back to them. But violence begets violence.
It doesn't solve anything. Still.. like your logo...



I would love to go Zatoichi on that bagger who put his foot on that woman's head. Thats the difference between us and them. They don't think and just do that stuff, and it would never enter our minds to be as violent as they are.
