2. Stewart was not throwing
softballs and that gave the President a chance to educate. Both of them did a good job!

6. W drove me nuts, too.
I was frustrating to have to decode, decipher, translate and process what he was saying. Same thing with that silly Palin woman.

12. Why did you bother? The penultimate result of all that work
would have been to make sense of gibberish.

And what Palin has to say fits on one hand and is not worth hearing twice.

Geez.

11. The job does that to you
If he gets to serve until 2017, he'll look like Morgan Freeman by then.

13. Agreed..
It was fun and informative. I loved it. I thought both men were great. When Stewart called the President "dude" (heck of a job comment) I cracked up. Only Jon Stewart would call the Prez "dude". Excellent. They should do this every couple months.

14. Yes, he did.
Jon tried to "gotcha" him, but he had none of it. He defended the health care bill. He defended the progress on the economy. More Democrats need to do it like him.

15. Agreed.
In fact the prez seemed almost a little testy with Jon...and I liked it. I think the whole 'timid' comment regarding the health care bill got Obama's back up and he kept it up the rest of the interview.

And for Jon's part I think he pretty much had to give the prez a hard time. He advocates progressivism on his show, and for him to settle for pragmatism when he has a chance to take the prez to task for it, would have been a mistake. Both men ultimately performed very well, and served their constituencies the same way.

Kudos to both.:toast:
