Jimmy Carter builds houses for people in need. George Bush "plays Scrabble constantly on his iPad."

Bush's favorite iPad app
By: CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney

(CNN) – Former President George Bush has gone high tech.

First, the two-term president hits YouTube to promote his new book.

Now, we learn he is an iPad addict.

That's according to wife Laura, who told Yahoo news it's hard to break her husband away from the popular Apple gadget.

"He reads the Wall Street Journal on it in the morning before the paper even is thrown," Mrs. Bush said.

The former first lady added the ex-president's favorite app is Scrabble.

"Scrabble is the one that George now seems to be playing constantly," she said. "Like, I'm trying to get his attention; 'I'm still here.'"

7. Maybe the GWB Scrabble game has an auto-spellchecker?
I'll bet it's built into those internet tubes and accessed through the googles.

3. To be fair, Bush can't go out in public
without being hissed and booed. It must be hard for him to be a useless, disgraced former puppet.

9. Can you replace the iPad's scrabble dictionary?
It would be fun to have the Bush version that accepts words like 'misunderestimate' and 'nucular'. And add new rules "4x word score for finding 'WMDs'".

14. He had a photo op once...
...I'm sure others here will remember the details better than I do, and it might have even been in post-Katrina New Orleans, but there was a "Habitat"-style rebuilding effort going on and Dubya got to dress up like the construction guy from The Village People and hammer a couple of nails while the photogs snapped away. Then he left.

The manufacturer's sticker/decal on the shovel blade had not a scratch on it.

That app must have some amazing animations.

raised money to help people. But it seems the Bush's are too damn self centered to do that. Another difference between Democrats and republicans that the tea bags and radical bunch of republicans don't get.

22. George Bush really was the perfect embodiment of an American as President
Edited on Thu Oct-28-10 01:38 PM by MrScorpio
A certain segment of the American people, of course... The Dumbasses.

Lazy, arrogant, obtuse, irresponsible, power drunk, self-serving, artificially pious, self-entitled, uncooperative, illiterate. self-delusional, reactionary, violence prone, unsophisticated, reckless, short-sighted, jingoistic, garish, greedy and attracted to stupidity.

No WONDER so many other mother fuckers thought that it would be a good idea to drink a beer with this asshole. The fawning pieces of shit.

Even after he screwed them over BIG TIME, the right wingers are still asking for more.

Too bad we can't ship all of these simpletons (and their hero) to the Moon, where they can cease being so troublesome to the rest of us.

23. "Playing Scrabble on his iPad" is a euphemism,...
much as "clearing some brush" was.

That's what he wants Laura to think.

It really means, "rubbing one out while looking at photos of Iraqi casualties on the web".

29. I think Laura actually said, "scribble" as in what he does to coloring books.
But the MSM gerbils, ever willing to cover the guy's arse, likely changed Laura's comment to "Scrabble" to make ole dufus seem more intellectual.
