It was not her head that was stepped on. It was her neck.

Until the right gets control of these cowards in their midst we must not let our guard down.

I implore the men of the Sane majority to be guardians of America and deal with these effete, balding, paunchy teabaggers the way our fathers did - like men.

I implore the right wing cowards to pick on someone your own size.

Everyone needs to 'man up' on both sides, only then will this ridiculousness cease.

1. Actually it sort of slid down her shoulder to her head
and on the way passed onto the neck.

2. Necks snap easily
A head is harder. The coward is VERY lucky he didn't break her neck.

5. Or break her skull or collarbone or tear her rotator-cuff
the possible damages that could have occurred are legion.

From this we MUST presume the guy pulled his stomp, and SHE should apologize to HIM!

yeah.

:sarcasm:

10. When I first saw the video, it seemed to me that he was circling around her and the stomp
just occurred to him. The "hesitation" or "restraint" was purely due to him not having set his feet and distributed his weight properly before stomping down. He was moving sideways when he tried to stomp her head - that's why he first hit her neck and followed through to her head.

My interpretation may lessen his "premeditation" but his purpose was obvious to any who viewed it.

15. Here's another interpretation:
Just a theory...

This overweight, middle-aged, balding nobody is pissed off. He can't tell you exactly who or why he's pissed off, but he's pissed off.

The modern world has flown by him so fast that he's scared. The blacks, communists, immigrants, liberals and homosexuals are taking over.
He probably needs pills to get an erection (though he's likely living with his mother so that only fixes part of the problem).
He is unattractive to women and therefore considers them wicked.
He kills for sport because it makes him feel powerful.
He thinks he knows more than you or I.

To top it off, he listens to entertainers disguised as informed thinkers and actually believes everything they tell him. In a word he is neurotic.

This unfortunate protestor got her neck in the way of his cheap tennis shoes (which he definitely doesn't use for exercise) and now we have a brouhaha.

why bring mild emotional disturbance into it?

The guy expects her to apologize to him for getting in the way of his foot. He is a mysogynist sociopath.

9. I think the point is that stomping on the neck is worse than the head.
Bunch of tiny bones, spinal cord, many nerves and blood vessels. That's what I think the OP meant.

12. I think she was stepped on. Anything above the toes is assault.
And even then, the stepped on must be upright and it must be clear it was an accident.

She was assaulted and I demand jail time for the steppee, the tackler, and Rand Paul.

13. I was arguing about this with a bunch of T-Nuts and the guys...
were finding all kinds of reasons to excuse his behavior: "She was a Move-On plant!" "She was an agitator!" "She was trying to attack Rand Paul!" "It was a sneaker, not a BOOT!"

29. It was a woman physically assaulted by several men.
The stomp was just the last, malicious act. How can these assholes think that being a "plant" is any justification for violence. They were worried about safety? Really?! Are they the police or the Secret Service? No? So I guess they were a self-appointed vigilante mob then.

33. Exactly. I stated that it didn't matter what they think she did...
or that she was an "agitator," three thugs knocked a 113lb woman to the ground and stomped on her head. Most of them were jerks about it, wanting to parse whether the "stomper" was wearing a sneaker vs. a boot. Stating that she was trying to "attack" Rand Paul. Bringing up an incident of a male T-bagger being pushed around by Union members at a rally a year ago(?). (I looked it up and it isn't clear from the video what exactly is going on.) Tit for tat, ala Kindergarten. Only one out of five of them actually conceded that the attack on this woman was out of line. I believe the rest would have behaved the same way, without remorse.:grr:

17. "It looks like he's trying to break her neck."
Those were my husband's words when he saw the video. Necks are fragile things. I learned that lesson the hard way; many years, and many more thousands of dollars later, it still hurts. It always will. I hope he gets a lot of jail time.

He was trying to kill or permanently disable.

Let's look at this, he took his time, he sized up his opportunity and then he struck. His delay and attempts to find a better location show clear pre-medition. The charge should be at least 1st degree attempted murder with special circumstances as well as a battery (pun) of other charges.

24. That would have killed me instantly. My GP recently ordered me to stop driving,
except for emergencies, after my last MRI. I cringe whenever I see that footage - it looks premeditated to me, too, designed to create severe damage. I'm horrified by these people!

25. Doesn't matter where he STOMPED her it was assault!
That's it and that's all! I grow weary of those trying to play with words or situations to minimize situations. If it was her neck and he stomped a little bit harder he could of killed her or paralyzed her. Her head still bounced off of the concrete and she was diagnosed with a concussion.

There are no excuse.

the neck is more fragile than the head, you can die or be paralyzed very easily if someone steps on your neck
