3. Ah -- thanks! Do you think it's because he believes he has a real chance
(does he?) or on principle?

It's a tough call, don't know what I'd do if I were he, don't know how I'd vote if I were in Florida!

4. No, he knows there is no chance. It throws the race to the teabaggers
and that makes me angry.

Crist was teabagged, otherwise he would have been a shoo-in.

7. If I were a Floridian the choice between an ex-Repub and a nutjob teabagger would make me think.
I've got to say even here in Wisconsin were it Feingold (who is a great Senator) who was running a distant third in the same type situation I would do what I could to keep the nutjob teabagger from winning. I would have to live with the consequences of my choice for 6 years, and that is too long to toss my vote to a hopeless purity principle. Welcome to real life.

13. I understand his standing on principle and "what's right" but this is the real
world where the Republicans are destroying our country. It's too bad, but this is one of the times when you have to choose the lesser of two evils, no matter how much we wish it weren't so.

Sometimes you gotta take a bullet for the gipper, or whatever the saying is.

So is his Congressional term over now?

12. So is his Congressional seat up open now? I'd hate to lose him completely.
What I've seen of him I like a LOT, and what you just said about him and DWS is impressive.
