Bielat, the Herald and Stephen Colbert

God love the Herald. The paper highlighted reader comments from last week's Friday Throwdown on Bostonherald.com. To nobody's surprise, Boston Herald readers seem to not support Barney Frank. They back Sean Bielat. Stunning!

We were surprised at how polite the contributors were on Herald.com. Mike mentioned change, Johnny from L.A. said Bielat is the "ideal" candidate to beat Frank, and theFez doesn't want "Barney bashing."

In other Bielat news...

Stephen Colbert took on Sean Bielat Monday. He mocked Bielat's comparison of gay people to short people as it pertains to military service.
