What costumes have you seen at work today (if any)?
Edited on Fri Oct-29-10 09:15 AM by woodsprite
I'm sitting here between teabaggers dressed as a knight, a cowboy and a ketchup bottle, and a liberal dressed as a witch with a Christine O'Donnell sticker on her hat. I told her that she should be carrying a spell book, which has a copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights in it.

1. My window looks out over a Plaza between our buildings. The nurses in the office
next door arrived dressed as a witch, a cat, and Minnie Mouse.

3. I toyed with the idea of an O'Donnell witch hat, but since the
DBAs in the next cubby are all teabaglicans, I didn't think it would be appropriate for work. I'm surprised my coworker actually did, but then she gave her 2 wk notice last Friday.

7. How about a witch hat with a red circle and a slash mark. You know, a "Not-a-Witch" costume?
:-)

2. What brand is the ketchup, if any?
If it's Heinz, that would be sort of hilarious in an ironic way, wouldn't it...

6. Just one of those generic red squeeze bottle costumes.
Yeah, Heinz would have been funny...And he probably wouldn't have caught on to the meaning.

5. A pumpkin just walked into my office, handing out candy.
I scored a mini-Twix to go with my coffee.

She wanted the Scooby Doo costume with the head and everything but it was almost 50 bucks :wow: so she had to settle for Daphne. :)

13. Thanks :)
So far she's been a ladybug, a bumblebee, a ballerina and now Daphne. The ballerina last year was easy since she is in ballet class, we just dressed her up in her ballerina outfit :D

10. Work? What's that?
My work is going to be around my orchard and farm today. I doubt that I will see any costumes out here, but some fine fall foliage, a few interesting animals and just the simple beauty of nature.

Work? Hah! I became a teacher, only to find that a work force that was screaming for teachers four years ago is now firing them left and right.
