another interesting editorial-Constitutional Thinking: Germany is waking up, as Obama crushes us
um,one of my local papers, natch!the Constitutional expert this time.

was quite a surprise the past week to hear German Chancellor Angela Merkel say that "Our attempt to have ethnic groups and religions live side by side and enjoy each other has failed, utterly failed."

Not only is this from a major European leader, a socialist and one-world supporter.

It is also surprising that it is coming from a country with Germany’s history, which makes this particularly encouraging.

Maybe the rest of Europe and the U.S. can wake up to the nightmare we have set ourselves up for.

Immigration expert Frosty Wooldridge reminded us of what former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm said about it in his 2004 speech in Washington, D.C. , entitled, "How to Destroy America." Here are a few key passages from the speech:

"Here is how they destroyed their countries: first, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country.

"History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures.

"It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however it is a curse for a society to be bilingual."

"The historical scholar Seymour Lipset put it this way, the histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension and tragedy.

"Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, Lebanon-all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided."

What has happened since 1994?

We have become much more divided.

The very worst things that could happen to the U.S. have happened. Immigration is a major problem. If we don’t correct our problem soon, we will be just like Europe.

Germany may have waited too long to wake up. The average Muslim birth rate in Europe is 8.1 children per female.

The German birth rate is 1.4, which does not even maintain the current German ethnic population level.

Allah could win without a fight.

Now look at President Obama’s special plans for us in 2011.

According to article by Paul L. Williams, Ph.D., "he will allow an additional 80,000 immigrants – mostly from Islamic countries- to resettle in the United States during fiscal year 2011.

Mr. Obama says that the increase in Muslim immigrants "is justified by humanitarian concerns or is otherwise in the national interest."

The Office of Refugee Resettlement has not even submitted its required annual report to congress on the activities of refugees since 2007.

This is supposed to show what their activities are and show which immigrants are on welfare.

Why does Obama want to give our resources to immigrants when we have 14.3 percent of Americans living in abject poverty according to The Wall Street Journal, and one in seven Americans can no longer can feed themselves?

We pretend we can’t find the money for a cost of living increase to Social Security recipients for probably several more years.

Of course we can’t.

American citizens come last with Obama.

How could even a Democrat vote for anyone that supports Obama, Pelosi or Reed?

His Royal Majesty slaps us all in the face, reserves all 575 rooms in a 5 star hotel in India for his visit, and requires that a teleprompter be put in at the Indian Parliament so he can read his speech.

Heaven forbid how embarrassed we would be if he didn’t have one.

This man, that promised not to raise taxes on people earning under $250,000, plans to cram a Democrat introduced bill, the "Debt Free America Act" – HR4646, down our throats after the election.

Swipe your card, write a check, deposit your paycheck, buy a stock, anything financial and you pay a 1 percent fee.

Think how that will add up, and remember, the rate can be raised like the income tax rate was. Warn your congressmen and senators now.

It is important for us in Step 1, to flush as many Democrats as possible nationwide out of office this election, then in Step 2, do the same to any Republican in 2012 that shows they have not read the Constitution by their actions and voting record.

Republicans will need at least a 90-95 percent Constitutional (not Conservative, which can mean anything) voting record to be reelected in 2012.

It is time to stop giving politicians a pass.

1. Germany is "waking up"?
Are they going to take care of those ethnic and religious minorities like they have in the past?

Hardly encouraging.
