Will Bushes showing up at the World Series on Halloween help the Democrats?
The sight of two President Bushes in one place may excite Texas Rangers fans, but it can't help the Republican cause on a national level. Might this end up being an unintentional October Surprise for the Democrats?

1. Don't know about that, but as a Giants fan...
I am conflicted, because I want the Giants to play all 7 games and to win at HOME, but the thought of watching the Smirking Chimp makes me hope the Giants pound the Rangers in the first two games there.

Yes, that's how much I can't stand his ugly mug.

4. Regardless of the teams, I like to see all series go 'til the last game. So much

more fun for the fans!

A few years back when the Panthers were in the Super Bowl (I was living in NC), it came down to the last few seconds. We lost, but it was a GREAT game and I'd rather watch a game like that and see my team loose than a snoozer. (Unfortunately Janet Jackson's nipple was all the news so there wasn't much post-game coverage).

It's not whether you win or lose.... I really believe that.

But for you, Go Giants! :headbang:

2. It may cause baseball-watching Democrats to throw pretzels at the TV screen,
but it's politically insignificant. Anyway, Rangers fans deserve to be excited about something - nothing on the field so far has done them much good... ;)

thread to watch it, I don't think there will be much of an impact.

dumbo's book is coming out a week or two after the election.

wonder why it's after.

if he wasn't looked upon with such withering disregard, don't you think that he'd be pounding pavement selling his weighty tome before the voting

what a surprise
