Pentagon Survey finds most troops fine serving with gays

Most U.S. troops are fine with gay people serving openly in the military, according to leaked results of the Pentagon's internal survey.

The Pentagon sent the questionnaire out to 400,000 active-duty and reserve troops. While it's unclear how many responded, a minority said they disapproved of openly gay service, and some said they would leave the military if the "Don't ask, don't tell" law is repealed.

1. I can´t imagine why anybody in their right mind would join the armed forces

they are not exactly fighting for the USA, and they sure seem to be dodging a lot of bullets and bombs in lost causes overseas.
