I'm not familiar with John Legend and his views about charter schools. I will inform myself, glad he was there to perform but, my interest is now piqued.

I'm hearing impaired so music isn't clear to me so I'm stuck in a rut with 70's and 80's music oh, and all the oldies ;) Ok, alright - I'm 61 and started to lose my hearing in my mid 20's. It was slow and now it really sux. Thank goodness for CC. It makes everything clearer - music on radio or cd's not good.

I'll be asking this on every post I make today. Does anyone know if The Rally will repeated on any station. My husband is working and he's a huge JS, SC fan. I'm bummed out that I couldn't tivo it for him - damn glitch with the machine. Got it working now.

14. If it weren't for DU and live streaming, I'd never know there was a huge rally in DC today.

I saw a small blip of live coverage from CNN so far, MSNBC for the short time I had it on, nothing.

there was no cavalcade of free buses, no overnight accommodations, no free food. Most paid their own way and came on their own. Does this tell the difference. I suppose a lot showed up for the free food. Maybe they hadn't ate in a day or two, the billionaires knew how to bring them in. They wouldn't have come on their own if Beck hadn't have promised them all that.

Checking CSPAN with the channel guide it doesn't appear that it's going to be repeated this weekend. My husband is working today - a big JS, SC fan and he'll be so damn disappointed that he missed it.

I was blown away. I love those guys, I think they've done more to further civility and brotherhood in 3 hours than anything or anyone else in at least the past 2 years. :toast: to The Guys!
