This thing is very cool, don't get me wrong.

But I remember being in DC for a few big-ass anti-war protests that didn't have comedians (well, Barry Crimmins did a few).

4. I went to rallies/marches here in Los Angeles NOT for the comedians

but to protest the Iraq war.

This is a different thing.

seriously though, one of my best memories was Joan Baez a couple of years ago. I came up to the stage where she was singing, ducking through some bushes, and for a minute, listening to her sing, I could swear I was some 30 years or so back in time.
