6. They are fun to watch but...
I wouldn't put a lot of faith in the accuracy of their methods. Most of the time they throw the scientific method out the window for the purposes of entertainment. There is nothing wrong with that since they are in fact entertainers but I wouldn't look to them for hard scientific fact.
