The election is Tuesday, 2 November 2010, which is the day after the day after tomorrow. If I come back here Wednesday and I hear you didn't vote, I'm gonna to call up your Ma to get your current address, then I'm going to go out and buy a cheap dog, and then we are gonna drop by, and I'm gonna sic my new dog on you, and you better hope the mean dogs weren't on sale went I went dog-shopping

Now, I am listening carefully to all the noises my computer makes, and through the racket I can hear some of you saying, Whew! I don't have to worry about that dimwit struggle4progress showing up on my doorstep with some mangy halfbreed chihuahua-poodle mix or whatever he gets, cuz I already voted! Well, not so fast, you slackers! If I learn that the Election ended without you lifting your little finger to help, I'm gonna go buy a crate of pigeons and I'm gonna pin your picture in the crate, and I'm gonna put "It's a statue. See the statue? What a nice statue!" on an endless tape loop to train the birds while we drive across country to find you, and when we find you I'm gonna let the pigeons out in your yard and I'm gonna point at you while telling my trained pigeons "Look! See the statue? What a nice statue!"

See ... I voted early in NC yesterday, straight DEM!!!

And yet, I am very sorry that the pen I used was too quiet ... I used the one they gave me, and it made no noise. And they made everyone turn off their cell phones.

When I was done, I started to text everyone on DU to let them know I voted ... but I only made it through the letter N.

What I've learned is that I need to get a twitter account!!!!
