Jon Stewart's take on the Dems / Reid (re: Iraq Funding) is Brilliant
Edited on Wed May-23-07 10:19 PM by leftist.
I'm glad he picked up the dropping of any time line from the Iraq Funding Bill (despite polls that say people would like to see something like that) and then compared Reid's words on the bills.
Nicely done. Thanks Jon!

1. He also said you know it's really bad when
a disembodied voice on C-SPAN calls you a pussy.

8. I read another DUer speculate earlier today......
that the sudden/abrupt Democratic reversal on requiring timelines could be due to a threat by lieberman to switch parties if Sen. Reid didn't remove these mandates from the Iraq Funding Bill.

Just food for thought...........

9. Let him.
The Senate's organizing motion has already been passed. Won't be another until after the election. If he wants to go, let him. It will change nothing.

7. Bush will keep on vetoing it and the Reps would start to get
real worried about 2008. Bush and the Reps hanging themselves might be the only way to get some action on a troop withdrawal.
