Capitalism Magazine.
I ran across this magazine in a google search or who else? - Ayn Rand.

Just reading some of the articles from the first page where quotes like "all taxation is plunder" , "why should the rich be taxed at a higher rate, they're people too!" and many other gems. I don't understand that mindset,no one is born in a vacuum. Each is part of this society and enjoys the benefits of it.

2. Article titled "Tea Parties, Then & Now" with the subheading
"There's no question the good guys can and should win. But will they?"

The ignorance and rhetoric of these articles is astounding. Here's one of the paragraphs from the above article:

The other emotion, "Others must take care of me," is no less hypocritical in its own way. People whose psyches are dominated by this emotion are happy to have the philosophy of liberal altruistic socialism imposed on others. What about themselves? "Well, it can't apply to me," they feel. "I'm put upon enough as it is. I deserve my share! It's my turn!" These are the people who feel happily entitled to everything "the government" -- that is to say, other people -- are mandated to provide for them. It's an invisible exchange. The trade is between "those who have had it easier than I have," and "those such as myself who have suffered enough." A lot of this is emotional and unspoken -- but it's present in the mindsets of millions of people. This psychological mindset, once it takes hold of our political institutions (as it did, starting in the Great Depression of the 1930s, if not sooner) gobbles up all that is good about the society and turns human beings into a bunch of moral cannibals.

Ah yes, the complete denial that corporate greed (record corporate profits, still high unemployment) has absolutely nothing to so with people needing help. The mentioning of the Great Depression, with n mention that corporations hit record profits in 1929. The automatic assumption that all people who need help don't need it but instead merely "want" it, because of some sense of entitlement. This could only come out of a mag titled "Capitalism."

I confess, I always get a little concerned that I'll read an article on the conservative side and maybe some of it will "make sense" and make me consider moving a little to the right. This just solidifies my position on the left. I'm far too aware of reality to be fooled by this nonsense.
