Interesting comments i saw on NYT yesterday about GOP blocking 9/11 aid
Several comments yesterday on the NYT made an interesting point, and i agree with them...They said had 9/11 happened in Dallas, etc. they would have not blocked aid....You know the right hates anything related to New York and LA, and i truly believe that many GOP senators don't think NYC is "real" America so they blocked aid...

In any event, it is absolutely sickening the GOP blocked this, as well as DADT, and DREAM ACT, all in one day...Disgusting beyond fucking description...

1. I think they would have blocked it regardless of
location. They only care about 9/11 when they can use it politically.

However, I'm in NY and this aid blocking is not going over well at all - even Republicans I know are very angry.
