How about a summit for 20 unemployed?
I'm sure they could use the free meal more than the millionaires that keep them unemployed.

Obama's meeting with the corporate executives comes just weeks after the Commerce Department reported that U.S. corporations posted the highest profits ever recorded during the third quarter of the 2010 fiscal year. Despite a combined $1.659 trillion in corporate profits, hiring remains scarce.

1. I'd tell him 'go for it, O-man'...
...and at this point he'd tell me "Why? The left would just savage me for making an empty, token, gesture." And he'd be right, and I'd have no answer for him.

6. Jesus fuck it's "groundhog day - the supply side version". He did this, what, a year ago?
It didn't do shit then, so he's doing it again. Makes perfect sense - if all you want is to *appear* to give-a-shit. Just like the Bush tax cuts - only they are 'improved' with social security jeopardy.

7. It is all about appearance.
The problem is that he only want to "appear" to care to millionaires and CEO's. The rest of us can go to hell.

We really can't deal with your healthcare reform.

We really need some tax breaks.

Did we mention we need tax breaks?

We can't hire anyone because we need tax breaks.

Oh, and lower taxes, we need those.

But on the tax break thing. We need them.
