Think he has mental or stability issues?

I find his behavior beyond unprofessional AND disgusting.

People can get really sharp mood swings. Either possibility is not good news for him or for us.

2. Well he defiantly has mental issues thats why hes a republican
but I think it is more because he thinks it will make people feel sorry for him or something. He's a con-artist, thats the basis of it.

It's possible he's just an overly-emotional person who cries a lot. Or, he could be someone who can turn it on and off at will, which isn't a bad skill for a politician to have. Like Glenn Beck, I think his crying will probably end up garnering more negative than positive attention. I wouldn't be surprised if other prominent Republicans are politely asking in private that he knock it off.

Could be too much time away from his wife. For whatever reason.

Often guys who have been hit on the head tend to have trouble controling emotions.

32. I don't think he can, either. I have a problem with tearing up and choking up
at the most ridiculous things, though not to the point of actually sobbing and chin quivering the way Boehner does. I am actually a pretty tough cookie, but I still tear up and choke up, even though inside I am actualyl laughing at my own physical manifestations of an emotion I don't necessarily feel.

I do think, though, that his boozing probably intensifies the effect. I don't drink, so I don't know whether I would cry more easily or more intensely, the wqay he does, if I were udner the influence of alcohol.

Still, I know what it is like to have a physiological cry-trigger that I have no control over and that isn't necessarily even connected to a real emotion. I think it is just a neurological glitch. (I wonder how many other DUers have a similar glitch. I can't believe I am that unusual!)

16. it seems significant that he says he can't be around children, that it's too emotional for him
so there is grief coming up, related to that methinks.. a lost childhood maybe, while he was working hard to achieve the dream. Tears that have been stuffed down since childhood.

that I dislike and distrust him so much. He is a Republican Obstructionist. That is enough.

BUT, it sure doesn't help that he tends to blubber under the weirdest circumstances. Come on. Emotional is one thing...weepy like he has recently shown is entirely creeping me out.

p.s. His wife said on 60 minutes that he usually doesn't cry and that he is going thru an emotional period right now.
I think he needs to be checked out by a doctor to find out what the 'problem' is.

34. He's nuts. It's that simple. Of course no one calls him
an emotional woman, who can't handle the pressure like they would have done to Nancy Pelosi if she had cried about every little thing. Also, I would say that alcohol enhances his emotional state.
